UFC welterweight knockout artists, Santiago Ponzinibbio and Geoff Neal are set to collide at UFC 269 on December 11 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
ESPN's Brett Okamoto was the first to report the news of the matchup, saying both fighters have verbally agreed to the bout. The promotion has to officially announce or finalize the fight yet though. Ponzinibbio is 8-1 in his last nine Octagon outings and will look to build off of a unanimous decision win over Miguel Baeza back at UFC Vegas 28. Neal on the other hand will try to avoid a three-fight losing streak against Ponzinibbio and rebound from a unanimous decision loss to Neil Magny at UFC Vegas 26.
