Scott Holtzman Signs Contract Extension With UFC

Scott Holtzman has already competed six times under the UFC banner and fans will see him around for four more fights because the fighter has signed a four bout contract extension with the promotion.

It was Holtzman who made the announcement through Instagram:

Holtzman has a 4-2-0 record in the UFC (11-2-0 overall), defeating Anthony Christodoulou, Cody Pfister, Michael McBride and Darrell Horcher, while suffering defeats to Drew Dober and Josh Emmett.

The fighter is also a former Xtreme Fighting Championships, defeating Bellator MMA veteran Roger Carroll in October 2013.

MMA Fighting is also reporting that Holtzman wants to compete before mid-May, which is when his first child is expected to be born. Although no event or opponent was mentioned for the newly re-signed competitor.
