The One Championship Lightweight Title is going to be on the line at One Championship 95 as Shinya Aoki puts the gold on the line against Christian Lee.
Aoki (43-8-0-1NC) just won the One Lightweight Title for a second time at One Championship: A New Era, defeating Eduard Folayang by first round submission. Aoki will also enter the bout riding a four fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in well over a year. Aoki has picked up forty three wins as a professional MMA fighter and twenty seven of them have come by way of submission.
Lee (11-3-0) will enter the bout while in the midst of a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Edward Kelly and Kazuki Tokudome. Lee has competed a total of fourteen times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of his bouts have gone the distance. Lee has previously challenged for the One Featherweight Title, losing to then champion Martin Nguyen at One Championship: Unstoppable Dreams.
One Championship 95 takes place on Friday, May 17 from the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore with Shinya Aoki and Christian Lee headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on Bleacher Report Live.
