Tony Ferguson & Nate Diaz Weren’t Impressed With Khabib Nurmagomedov At UFC 223

Khabib Nurmagomedov claimed the UFC Lightweight Title with a unanimous decision win over Al Iaquinta in the main event of UFC 223.

Former UFC Interim Lightweight Champion Tony Ferguson was supposed to be fighting Nurmagomedov for the gold at the event, but withdrew due to a knee injury.

Ferguson still found time to check out the fight and he wasn’t impressed by what took place inside of the Octagon:

 

Nate Diaz has been competing in professional MMA for over a decade now, but has yet to claim the UFC Lightweight Title as his own.

The Stockton native also had the opportunity to check out the UFC 223 main event, but also found himself not enthused by what happened in the Octagon:

 

It would seem like neither fighter could be next in line for a shot at Nurmagomedov and the UFC Lightweight Title, as Diaz hasn’t fought since UFC 202 and UFC President Dana White stated that he wouldn’t book Ferguson against Nurmagomedov for a fifth time.
