A pair of welterweight division fighters are going to be headlining the upcoming Legacy Fighting Alliance 25 card as Dakota Cochrane is in action against Ciro Rodrigues.
Cochrane (29-12-0) is going to be entering the fight on the strength of a two fight winning streak, with those victories coming over the duo of David Castillo and Maki Pitolo. Cochrane also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 15, losing in the opening round of the reality show to James Vick. Cochrane also competed twice under the Bellator MMA banner, dropping fights to Ryan Couture and Alexander Sarnavskiy.
Rodrigues (21-6-0-1NC) enters the fight on a three fight winning streak, which includes a win over UFC veteran David Michaud at LFA 19. Rodrigues hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost two years, with his last defeat coming at the hands of Eric Barbosa at Jungle Fight 82 in October of 2015. Rodrigues is also competing outside of his native Brazil for only the second time in his professional MMA career, with his bout at LFA 19 serving as that first fight.
Legacy Fighting Alliance 25 takes place on Friday, October 20 from the Ralston Arena in Omaha, Nebraska with Dakota Cochrane and Ciro Rodrigues headlining. Fightful will provide quick results of the event, which airs live on AXS TV.
