A heavyweight division affair is the latest addition to the Bellator 193 card as Tyrell Fortune is going to see action against Joe Hernandez.

Fortune (3-0-0) has spent his entire professional MMA career in Bellator MMA, with his last win coming over Branko Busick at Bellator 178. Fortune has only seen one of his professional MMA fights go the distance and that came against the aforementioned Branko Busick. Fortune has no amateur MMA experience to speak off, but he had a long career as an NCAA wrestler.
Hernandez (3-2-0) is making his Bellator MMA debut in this fight and he does so while on a two bout losing streak. Hernandez hasn’t earned a victory in nearly three years, with that last win coming against Trejohn Williams at Gladiator Challenge: California State Championship Series. Hernandez has yet to see any of his professional MMA fights go the distance and only two of those fights got out of the opening round.
Bellator 193 takes place on Friday, January 26 from the Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, California with Lorenz Larkin and Fernando Gonzalez headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Spike TV.
