UFC 214 Bonuses, Gate, Attendance: Jon Jones Nets An Extra $50,000

Not only did Jon Jones regain the UFC light heavyweight championship but also came out of the event a little bit richer.

Jones highlighted the UFC 214 bonuses, winning $50,000 for "Performance of the Night" for his finish of Daniel Cormier in the main event of the show that took place in Anaheim, CA.

Other fighters who garnered bonuses for their efforts were Volkan Oezdemir, Brian Ortega, and Renato Moicano. 

Oezdemir who has taken the UFC and the light heavyweight division by storm got the other "Performance of the Night" bonus for running through and knocking out Jimi Manuwa in 42 seconds to run his record to 3-0 and has now finished his last two fights in 70 seconds.

Ortega and Moicano fought on the UFC 214 prelims on FXX were the "Fight of the Night' in a featherweight war which was the best fight at 145 pounds this year. It was a back-and-forth battle with Ortega being able to submit Moicano by third-round submission via rear-naked choke.The win was Ortega's fourth win in the third and final round. 

The event also set a UFC record at the Honda Center with an attendance of 16,610 and a live gate of $2,448,870. The previous record was held by UFC 121 with 14,856 for $2,237,070.

The main card aired on pay-per-view and the preliminary portion of the card aired on FXX and UFC Fight Pass.
