UFC 236 Fights: OSP vs. Krylov Rematch, Anders At Light Heavyweight, More Added

MMA

After announcing two interim title fights to UFC 236 this week, the company hasn't wasted any time adding to the April pay-per-view event.

Former middleweight Eryk Anders (11-3) will return to light heavyweight, and look to halt a two-fight losing streak, as he takes on Khalil Rountree (7-3, 1 NC) at the show.  Anders last took a fight at 205 pounds last year against fast-rising Thiago Santos.

Speaking of fast-rising, Montel Jackson (7-1) looks to continue on that path after his UFC 232 win over Brian Kelleher, when he takes on Andre Soukhamthath (13-6). Soukhamthath looks to put together his first winning streak in his UFC career with a win.

The city of Atlanta will be treated to the fresh Boston Salmon (6-1), who hasn't fought since July 2017 after three canceled fights. One of those was a planned November scrap with Khalid Taha (12-2), which will now take place on UFC 236.

Perhaps the biggest fight announced today was a rematch between #12 Ovince Saint Preux (23-11) and Nikita Krylov (25-6). Their 2014 fight ended in a Von Flue choke win for OSP well before any reached their career heights. Now. with both fighters arguably on a downswing, they'll meet again.

In addition, previously announced fights include Paige VanZant vs. Poliana Botelho, Wilson Reis vs. Alexandre Pantoja, Kelvin Gastelum vs. Israel Adesanya and Max Holloway vs. Dustin Poirier.
