In the least shocking news of the night, Sean O'Malley took one of of the Performance of the Night bonuses at UFC 250.
O'Malley scored a walk-off KO over Eddie Wineland, which earned him an extra $50,000 in bonus money. O'Malley had asked for an extra $100,000, but Dana White didn't grant his wish. This marks O'Malley's third straight post-fight bonus in his UFC career.
Elsewhere on the card, Aljamain Sterling, Cody Garbrandt, and Alex Perez picked up Performance of the Night bonuses. Sterling choked out Cory Sandhagen less than two minutes in their bantamweight tilt, Garbrandt scored a highlight reel KO at the buzzer over Raphael Assunção in the co-main event, and Perez stopped Jussier Formiga with leg kicks in the first round.
No Fight of the Night bonus was awarded.
UFC 250 took place from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. As with any show during the coronavirus pandemic, the gate was $0 and the attendance was zero.
