Islam Makhachev will now defend his UFC Lightweight Championship against Renato Moicano in the main event of UFC 311.
Arman Tsarukyan, Makhachev's original opponent, is out of the fight due to "significant back pain."
Dana White made the announcement on social media.
Moicano weighed in as the backup fighter for the bout. Makhachev agreed to take the fight, saying he is the champion and willing to fight anyone.

Moicano was originally scheduled to face Beneil Dariush at UFC 311. He has won four straight fights and six of his last seven.
