Jun Yong Park has snapped Matt Riddle's UFC record after bludgeoning John Phillips with more than 200 ground strikes at UFC Fight Island 6.
Park dragged Phillips down and fed him enough knuckle sandwiches to stock a buffet. The final tally was 258 ground strikes for Park, an all-time UFC record in three round fights. The record was previously held by fighter-turned-WWE superstar Riddle. Back in 2009, Riddle landed 251 ground strikes on Steve Bruno in Riddle's sophomore MMA fight.

Riddle acknowledged the achievement, celebrating his record that stood more than a decade.
Records were meant to be broken, 11 years is awesome https://t.co/OYiujQdqrk

Park was informed about the record in his post-fight speech with former UFC champ-champ Daniel Cormier. Park's only question was if he landed more strikes on Phillips than, their shared opponent, Khamzat Chimaev did.
Cormier: You broke the UFC record for most ground strikes in a three-round bout.

Park's cornerman: More than Chimaev?!
