The UFC was back in the country of Singapore earlier today for UFC Fight Night Singapore, which featured Demian Maia scoring a third round submission win over Ben Askren in the main event.
A total of 7,155 fans attended the event according to numbers obtained by MMA Junkie, but no live gate has been announced for the show at this time.
Several bonuses were also handed out at UFC Fight Night Singapore, with headliners Maia and Askren awarded $50,000 each for Fight Of The Night, while Ciryl Gane (who defeated Don’Tale Mayes by third round submission) and Beneil Dariush (who defeated Frank Camacho by first round submission) were awarded $50,000 each for Performances Of The Night. A total amount of $200,000 were handed out in publicly disclosed bonuses were handed out at the event, which is the norm for the majority of UFC cards.
Up next for the UFC is UFC 244, which will feature Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal in the main event, with the winner of that bout being awarded the BMF Championship.
