Greg Hardy picked up a unanimous decision victory over Ben Sosoli at UFC Fight Night Boston, but the lethargic striking contest wasn't the biggest story coming out of the fight. During second and third round, Hardy asked for and received an inhaler to use. The commentary team brought attention to Hardy's inhaler use, believing it to be illegal. UFC Vice President of Regulatory Affairs Marc Ratner called it "completely illegal" on the broadcast. It is unclear if the commission was aware of Hardy's inhaler usage.
Hardy was not interviewed following his victory, meaning there was no immediate explanation as to why he was able to use the inhaler.
