A UFC Hall of Famer is returning to the octagon.
As first reported by AG Fight, Jose Aldo is scheduled to return to the octagon on May 4 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to take on Jonathan Martinez at UFC 301.
This will be Aldo's first fight since August 2022 when he lost to Merab Dvalishvili by unanimous decision at UFC 278.

Aldo has a career record of 31-8-0 in 16 years as a professional fighter. His last victory came on December 4, 2021, at UFC Fight Night when he defeated Rob Font by unanimous decision.
UFC 301 will be headlined by a UFC Flyweight Championship fight as Alexandre Pantoja in his home country of Brazil defends the championship against the #10 ranked challenger Steve Erceg.
