Dana White has his eyes on a UFC featherweight title clash between champion Alex Volkanovski and top contender Brian Ortega in February.
While sitting down with BT Sport's Caroline Pearce, White commented about what could be in store for the UFC's featherweight division.

"Probably [February]," White said in response to a question about the rumored match-up (h/t BJPenn.com). "That’s a fun fight, too. I love that fight."
It is possible White is targeting UFC 258 for this fight. It could serve as an action co-main event underneath the welterweight championship bout between champion Kamaru Usman and challenger Gilbert Burns.
Volkanovski last fought in July at UFC 251, defending his belt against former champion Max Holloway. Ortega, on the other hand, is coming off a dominant victory against "The Korean Zombie" Chan Sung Jung in October. Volkanovski is undefeated in the UFC with nine consecutive wins; meanwhile, Ortega is 7-1 (1 NC) in the promotion.
