UFC Veteran Cody East Arrested For Domestic Violence

Two fight UFC veteran Cody East (9-3-0 overall, 0-2-0 UFC) has been arrested by Albuquerque, New Mexico police officers on Sunday (12/18) on three charges. Those charges are aggravated battery against a member of the household, false imprisonment and aggravated assault against a member of the household, according to a report filed by KRQE.

East is current sitting in the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Detention Center on $30,000 bail, this isn’t the first time the UFC veteran has been in legal problems. In 2008, East served three years on prison after being convicted on child abuse charges, he was also arrested in 2006 and 2010 for domestic violence charges. East has also been arrested twice for sexual assault charges.

East was brought in the UFC after he was discovered on the reality show "Lookin’ For A Fight.”

East is a former Legacy Fighting Championships Heavyweight Champion and a former King Of The Cage Heavyweight Champion, his two losses in the UFC came to Curtis Blaydes and Walt Harris, both losses came by way of TKO. East hasn’t competed since his UFC release, which came after a loss to the aforementioned Curtis Blaydes at UFC Fight Night: Dodson vs. Lineker.
