Dennis Siver’s decade-plus run in the UFC has come to an end because the fighter has signed a multi-fight contract with the Absolute Championships Berkut (ACB) promotion.
The former UFC fighter will make his promotional debut in the main event of ACB 75 on November 25, but no opponent has been named at this time.
During his ten-plus years competing in the UFC, the newly signed ACB fighter earned a 12-8-0-1NC in the promotion (23-11-0-1NC overall).
Siver earned his twelve victories in the UFC over Naoyuki Kotani, Nate Mohr, Dale Hartt, Paul Kelly, Spencer Fisher, Andre Winner, George Sotiropoulus, Matt Wiman, Diego Nunes, Nam Phan, Charles Rosa and former UFC Lightweight/Welterweight Champion BJ Penn. UFC Fight Night Oklahoma City was the last time Siver competed in the Octagon, which is where he picked up a decision win over the aforementioned BJ Penn.
It was at the Temple Fight School: Mix Fight Gala 7 event that Siver last fought outside of the UFC auspices and he earned a third round submission victory over Chas Jacquier on that night.
ACB promotion has been making a lot of big name signings in recent years, including Zack Makovsky, Pat Healy, Efrain Escudero, Albert Tumenov and others.
