A seemingly rejuvenated Faber would call out two division UFC champion Henry Cejudo after the fight, answering a challenge made by Cejudo about a decade ago.
“I heard Henry Cejudo challenged me to a fight,” Faber said in a post-fight interview (via Mike Bohn & Ken Hathaway of MMA Junkie). “Henry, I remember 10 years ago when you challenged me as a friendly gesture. I’m down to get in there and mix it up. I do this to test myself against the best in the world. I want to take fights that make sense. I took this fight because if I didn’t beat him, I’d know I don’t need to go for super fights.”
Cejudo got wind of what was said by Faber and would issue the following response through Twitter:
Careful what you wish for my corn-rolled princess. You could be the next legend to bend the knee to Triple C. https://t.co/j5NcVrEoqz

It could be awhile before a potential title bout happens, as Cejudo is currently recovering from shoulder surgery and could be out of action until the end of the year.
