Reigning UFC women's flyweight champion, Valentina Shevchenko, is expected to make her next title defense against Alexa Grasso at UFC 285 on March 4 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
ESPN Deportes' Carlos Contreras Legaspi was the first to report the news of the matchup, although the promotion has yet to officially announce anything regarding the booking itself. Shevchenko is currently riding a nine-fight winning streak that dates back to February 2018 and is coming off a split-decision victory over Taila Santos at UFC 275 last June. Grasso meanwhile is currently riding a four-fight winning streak and is coming off a unanimous decision win over Viviane Araújo at UFC Vegas 62 back in October.
