Newly engaged Nikki Bella is leaving but she says she will be back.
Bella had a neck injury last year, for which she had surgery and went through months of rehabilitation. In a pre-Wrestlemania interview on Between The Ropes, she said her neck is still giving her problems.
"I have a slight herniation above where I had surgery. But, I just got cleared by my surgeon Wednesday, so I'm good to go. I know I was supposed to be on a loop of live events. The minute I got taken off everyone was like 'What's happening?' But I'm good. I kind of sprained my neck, and we found out some other stuff is going on, so I'm definitely going to have to take some time to heal that. But I'm cleared so I'm competing at WrestleMania. So that's the good thing," said Bella
After Wrestlemania 33, Bella confirmed her neck issues in a series of tweets. On Tuesday, Nikki tweeted from the Bella Twins account indicating she will be taking a break off after an eventful Wrestlemania 33, where she was not only victorious but afterwards John Cena publicly proposed to Bella. The two had just defeated The Miz and Maryse in a mixed-tag match with synchronized pins.
This isn't goodbye, just need time to heal. When the day is right I will be back and hopefully then.... BRIE MODE will be ACTIVATED!... pic.twitter.com/3OB6QjUnvU

In her interview with Between the Ropes, she also said she debated a long time before even competing at WrestleMania but ultimately decided to go ahead because it meant a lot to be in a match with Cena at Wrestlemania.
