Tyrus has announced that he will enter the upcoming Crockett Cup tag team tournament.
Tyrus is proud of the history and tradition of the National Wrestling Alliance. However, he is not satisfied just being the NWA World's Heavyweight Champion. He also wants to be the co-winner of the upcoming Crockett Cup tag team tournament.
Tyrus announced his intention to enter the tournament on the April 18th episode of NWA Powerrr. Jordan Clearwater was standing next to him when he made this announcement and pitched very hard to be Tyrus' partner in the upcoming tournament on June 3 and 4, but Tyrus says he does not know who he will be teaming with yet because he has not made the decision.
Perhaps Clearwater will get his dream of being part of the Golden Smash tag team.
Later in the show, Kerry Morton and Ricky Morton announced they would also be a team in the tournament. Ricky Morton is no stranger to this tournament as he has entered in the past as part of the Rock 'n' Roll Express.
