Randy Orton reminisces about working with Cody Rhodes.
Cody Rhodes left WWE in 2016. Since then, he has inarguably been successful in independent promotions, Ring of Honor, and New Japan Pro Wrestling. He won the Ring of Honor World Championship, performed against Kota Ibushi at Wrestle Kingdom 12, and became the leader of Bullet Club. During a Q&A with fans on Twitter, Rhodes denied Vince McMahon ever held him or anyone back despite him becoming more successful after leaving.
He doesn't hold anybody back. A lot of times it's hard for fans to accept that some of their favorites have a ways to go or that they become lazy after they get that first LE check. Stardust for example didn't go beyond tag gold cuz' I wasn't improving & I also got outta' shape. https://t.co/PJstDITaMp

Another fan accused Rhodes of responding in a political way. Rhodes empathically told the fan he has nothing to gain by currying favor with WWE.
Don't comment directly on my tweet as if I don't see it. How's my answer to a fan in a random Q/A remotely political? I have zero to gain. I worked there, you didn't...you bought a ticket, not an education. Sit the fuck down. https://t.co/AVpor9CznG

Current WWE roster member, Randy Orton retweeted the above tweet and joked about the two wrestlers' time in the stable Legacy.

Rhodes responded to Orton with a quote. It is unclear why Rhodes sent this to Orton or to whom the quote can be contributed.
"...lean your head out the window and get some air on those stitches..." https://t.co/uu5gBRTxVq

According to Rhodes, he is preparing for a big year in independent wrestling. He, The Young Bucks, and Kenny Omega are planning All-In which is scheduled to be a huge wrestling event with a lot of big names. Rhodes is also scheduled to face Kenny Omega at Ring of Honor's Supercard of Honor.
Fightful will have coverage on the development of All-In and live coverage of Ring of Honor's Supercard of Honor.
