Report: Jinder Mahal Vs. Brock Lesnar Penciled In For Survivor Series In a Non-Title Match

If a recent report is confirmed correct, both WWE world champions are scheduled to face one another next month in the latest champion vs. champion battle.

In today's Wrestling Observer daily update, Dave Meltzer reported that Brock Lesnar vs. Jinder Mahal would headline Survivor Series on November 19 in Houston. He also mentioned that this would be a non title match, with neither championship being on the line.

ECW Legends Announced For The People vs. GCW

Following his successful title defense against Shinsuke Nakamura at Hell in a Cell last Sunday, Jinder Mahal did not appear on this week's Smackdown, indicating he has no new program yet. Brock Lesnar is in the same boat, having successfully defeated Braun Strowman at No Mercy. He hasn't been on television since then, but has been scheduled for Survivor Series.

This would be the first time the Universal champion has squared off against the WWE champion in a one on one match. There have been many championship matches between the World Heavyweight champion and the WWE champion, but the World title ceased to be when it was unified with the WWE championship back at TLC in 2013.

NXT Takeover, scheduled for the night before, will bring back War Games for their main event.
