A women’s bantamweight division attraction has been added to the UFC Fight Night Austin card as #10 Marion Reneau faces Tonya Evinger.

Reneau (8-3-1) has won two of her last three under the UFC banner, defeating both Talita Bernardo and Milana Dudieva. Reneau has seen her last five UFC bouts go to the third round and only two of those fights ended with a finish. Reneau has earned four victories in UFC competition and only one of those came over a ranked opponent (Jessica Andrade).

Evinger (19-6-0) is competing for the first time since losing a UFC Women’s Featherweight Title shot to Cyborg at UFC 214. Evinger is also a former Invicta Fighting Championships Bantamweight Champion, but she relinquished the belt upon signing with the UFC earlier this year. The loss to Cyborg at UFC 214 came via third round TKO, which was the first time Evinger was finished by KO/TKO in her eleven-plus year professional MMA career.

UFC Fight Night Austin takes place on Sunday, February 18 from the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas with Donald Cerrone and Yancy Medeiros headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
