Two More Bouts Added To UFC Fight Night Shanghai

A pair of bouts are the latest addition to UFC Fight Night Shanghai as Cyril Askey faces James Mulheron and Alex Garcia faces Muslim Salikhov.

Asker (8-3-0) has won just one of three under the UFC banner, with that win coming over Dmitry Smoliakov at UFC Fight Night 103. Asker also competed in the Extreme Fighting Championships, where he defeated UFC veteran Ruan Potts.

Mulheron (11-2-0) is currently winless thus far in UFC competition, dropping a fight to Justin Willis at UFC Fight Night Glasgow. Mulheron also competed once in the Bellator MMA promotion, defeating Neil Grove at Bellator 158 in July 2016.

Garcia (14-4-0) has rotated wins and losses in his last six UFC bouts, with his last fight being a loss to Tim Means at UFC Fight Night Oklahoma City. Garcia also went winless against UFC veterans prior to signing with the promotion, losing bouts to Chris Heatherly and Seth Baczynski.

Salikhov (12-1-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this fight and he does so on the strength of a ten fight winning streak. Salikhov has fought two UFC veterans already, defeating both Melvin Guillard and Ivan Jorge by first round knockout.

UFC Fight Night Shanghai takes place on Saturday, November 25 from the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, China with Anderson Silva and Kelvin Gastelum headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
