Despite Demetrious Johnson vs. Ray Borg being called off days before UFC 215, the event still managed to sell out the Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

During the UFC 215 presser, UFC executive David Shaw said the official attendance of the fight was 16,232 and attracted a live gate of $2.03 million. Shaw did admit that the Johnson vs. Borg fight created a large demand for refunds, but the preceding ticket sales far exceeded the refunds issued in the days leading up to the fight.

As for post-fight bonuses, Henry Cejudo and Rafael Dos Anjos won Performance of the Night honors for their respective victories at UFC 215. Cejudo defeated Wilson Reis via TKO in the second round while Dos Anjos submitted Neil Magny in the first round in the co-main event of the show.

Fight of the Night honors goes to the Jeremy Stephens vs. Gilbert Melendez fight that opened the pay-per-view card. Stephens ended up defeating Melendez via unanimous decision (30-26, 30-26, 30-25) and so, all four fighters get to take home an extra $50,000.

The main event of UFC 215 was the UFC Women's Bantamweight Title match between Amanda Nunes and Valentina Shevchenko. Nunes won the fight, and retained her title, by beating Shevchenko via split decision (47-48, 48-47, 48-47).
