Just two days after winning (technically) at WWE Money in the Bank, Carmella was stripped of the briefcase.
On Tuesday's Smackdown Live, General Manager Daniel Bryan took Carmella's Money in the Bank briefcase after she used nefarious means to capture it. Instead, Bryan booked a re-match for next week's Smackdown Live, pitting Carmella, Becky Lynch, Tamina, Charlotte and Natalya against one another.
This will serve as the first ever Money in the Bank ladder match to air outside of PPV or the WWE Network. The show also features Naomi vs. Lana for the Smackdown Women's Championship, Sami Zayn vs. Baron Corbin, and The Hype Bros looking to earn a tag team title shot if they can beat The Usos.
