David Finlay: I'm Going To Use IWGP Global Title Like A Fantastically Large Set Of Testicles In A Speedo

- Bray Wyatt kicked off the show. He said he doesn't think of himself as a good person deep down, though he tries to be one. Wyatt stated that he doesn't regret much, but he regretted attacking a cameraman last week.He started to say sorry before LA Knight cut him off. Knight criticized Wyatt for attacking a cameraman. He said Wyatt was responsible for his attacks. Knight then wondered what happened to Wyatt, as he used to be a force. He told Wyatt he was a broken-down loser. Knight then vowed to take Wyatt out, and he mentioned the Royal Rumble. Wyatt responded by calling him an idiot and saying it's time he reminds the world how cruel he is. He then accepted the challenge. Uncle Howdy chimed in with another message, as he said "Revel in what you are" and "Embrace the dark." He then came to the ring and dropped Wyatt with the Sister Abigail.

- Ronda Rousey defended the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship against Raquel Rodriguez, who has competing with an injured arm due to previous attacks by Rousey and Baszler. Rodriguez persevered and delivered a valiant effort, but in the end, Rousey clinched the submission win with an arm-bar.

- After the match, Charlotte Flair returned and challenged Rousey to face her on the spot. She then beat Rousey to win the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship.

- John Cena returned to the ring; he teamed up with Kevin Owens and defeated Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn.

- Earlier in the show, Sami Zayn went to Roman Reigns' locker room, but he was greeted instead by Paul Heyman, who told Zayn that Reigns was proud of him. But Heyman said they weren't pleased with the way fans constantly cheer for Zayn.

- Solo Sikoa battled Sheamus in a hard-fought match. During the bout, The Usos brawled with Ridge Holland and Butch. Sheamus got involved, and Sikoa capitalized by slamming Sheamus onto the apron. He then pinned Sheamus with the Samoan Spike.The Bloodline trio attacked Sheamus and his stablemates after the match until Drew McIntyre made the save.

- Ricochet was joking around backstage, but Top Dolla, the target of the jokes, got heated and shoved Ricochet.

- Gunther came to the ring with Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci. Kaiser and Vinci hyped up the WWE Intercontinental Champion's dominance. Braun Strowman came to the ring and challenged Gunther. He took the fight to Imperium, but the group gained the upper hand. Gunther viciously targeted Strowman's arm, and Ricochet made the save.

- In a WWE Digital Exclusive, Charlotte Flair commented on her return.

- In a WWE Digital Exclusive, Legado del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, Cruz Del Toro & Zelina Vega) teased their plans for expansion.

- WWE announced that Gunther will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Gunther on the January 13 episode of SmackDown. More information is available here.

- Ric Flair commented on Charlotte's return.

AEW Rampage

- Darby Allin shared his thoughts ahead of his TNT Championship match against Samoa Joe. He asked Sting if he thought he could win. Allin then shoved Sting, and the legend got fired up. He told Allin to stop worrying about what everyone else thought, as all that mattered was what he thought.

- Orange Cassidy defended the AEW All-Atlantic Championship against Trent Beretta. Throughout the bout, it was clear that the Best Friends allies didn't want to fight, but that didn't stop them from throwing everything they had at each other. In the end, a distraction from Penelope Ford helped Cassidy take control, and he clinched the win with the Orange Punch. Kip Sabian was clearly happy, as his plan to drive a wedge between the Best Friends seemingly worked; Trent walked away on his own.

- Kip Sabian picked up a decisive victory, and he mockingly used Orange Cassidy to clinch the three count.

- AEW announced that Orange Cassidy will defend the AEW All-Atlantic Championship against Kip Sabian on AEW Battle of the Belts V.

- Jon Moxley challenged Hangman Page to a match on the January 11 episode of AEW Dynamite.

- Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett were fired up ahead of their title match against The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster). They vowed to make the champions pay for insulting them in their new music video.

- In an interview, Preston Vance stated that his new name is Perro Peligroso. He discussed his decision to turn on the Dark Order before he noted that he'll be in action next week.

- Jade Cargill defeated Kiera Hogan to retain the TBS Championship. After the match, Red Velvet walked out on Cargill and Leila Grey.

- AEW Women's World Champion Jamie Hayter discussed her recent defense against Hikaru Shida and previewed her tag team clash against Saraya and a mystery partner.

- "Smart" Mark Sterling challenged Bryan Danielson to face Tony Nese next week on Dynamite.

- Swerve Strickland defeated Wheeler Yuta in a competitive match, but he used a low blow to score the win.

- Strickland challenged AR Fox to face him on AEW Dynamite, and Tony Khan confirmed the match.
