Aaron Mercer Announces His Retirement From Pro Wrestling

Aaron Mercer announced his retirement from wrestling in a social media post on October 23, 2024. Mercer, who has wrestled for MLW, GCW, NOAH, and even made some appearances in AEW, stated that this was not a sudden decision but something he had been considering for quite some time. He cited his desire to spend more time with his son as he grew up and the general wear and tear of years of wrestling catching up to him as reasons why he decided to retire now.

Mercer also thanked his supporters through the years in what he says was his final message as the Aaron Mercer character.

According to Cagematch, Mercer wrestled 117 matches between 2018 and 2023.
