Abadon Wins First Match On AEW TV Since 2021, Earns AEW Women's Title Shot On 10/27 AEW Rampage

Abadon earned a title shot in their return to AEW television.

On the October 27 episode of AEW Rampage, Abadon defeated Anna Jay, Willow Nightingale, and Skye Blue to earn a shot at the AEW Women's World Championship. Abadon clinched the win by pinning Jay. They will challenge Hikaru Shida for the title on the October 28 episode of AEW Collision. Tony Khan confirmed that the match will be a Fright Night Fight.

Before Friday's episode of AEW Rampage, Abadon had not competed on AEW television since the October 29, 2021, episode of Rampage. There, they lost to AEW Women's World Champion Britt Baker in a Trick Or Treat Match. Abadon wrestled in a few dark matches throughout 2023, but their last match on AEW programming had been on AEW Dark in December 2022.
