When questioned by fans on social media about the name change, Jordan revealed, perhaps jokingly, that he pitched other ideas before settling on Jordan Myles.

The writers asked me to leave the room and never pitch anything EVER again.
Myles made his NXT debut at a live event on Mar. 7, losing to Raul Mendoza. He has continued to work NXT live events but has yet to debut on NXT television. He did take part in the Worlds Collide special during WrestleMania Axxess, squaring off with Ligero and Gran Metalik in a triple threat bout.
Names changes have been common in NXT as of late as the brand recently re-branded five superstars, including Trevor Lee and Eric Bugenhagen. You can find more information on their name changes by clicking here.
