On the July 19 episode of AEW Dynamite, Adam Cole and MJF were able to knock off the duo of Daniel Garcia and Sammy Guevara in the finals of the Blind Tag Team Eliminator Tournament.
Throughout the match, the two teams had a dance off, MJF hit a Tope Suicida, and the duo finally hit their long teased double clothesline on Daniel Garcia to ultimately win the bout.

As a result of winning the blind tag team eliminator tournament, Cole and MJF are set to challenge FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) for the AEW World Tag Team Championships on the July 29 episode of AEW Collision. The two teams had a intense stare down after the conclusion of the tournament finals.
Throughout the duration of the tournament, Cole and MJF knocked off the other teams of Matt Menard/The Butcher and Big Bill/Brian Cage.
