Don't expect to see Adam Cole back in the ring anytime soon.
On the November 22 episode of AEW Dynamite, Cole and MJF hit the ring for a promo. After speaking briefly, MJF passed the attention to Adam Cole, who provided a brief update on his status.
Cole said that he is not nearing a return, as he is not even close to being able to walk at the moment, let alone wrestle. Back in October, Cole confirmed that he would need two surgeries, screws, and a plate to fix his ankle injury that he suffered at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam.

After Cole spoke about his injury, Samoa Joe hit the ring and went back and forth with the AEW World Champion, MJF. A championship match between the two stars was confirmed for the Worlds End pay-per-view only moments later.
