Eric Bischoff is back on WWE TV.
After appearing on WWE Raw a few weeks ago as the officiant for The Miz and Maryse's vow renewal, Eric Bischoff returned to WWE on the January 21 episode of SmackDown. He was seen backstage with Adam Pearce, offering up advice about leadership.
Earlier in the night, Sonya Deville appointed herself as special guest referee for Naomi's Championship Contender's Match against Charlotte Flair, once again costing her a victory. Pearce and Bischoff expressed their concern, saying that they believe her feud with Naomi is affecting her backstage role. As a result, Pearce is suggesting to upper management that the two women have a match next week.
Deville told Pearce to keep her posted and then left the room. Bischoff said to Pearce, 'Now that's leadership.'
