AEW Dynamite Draws Over 1.2 Million Viewers On 4/14/21

AEW has Wednesday to itself and the numbers are up as a result.

ShowBuzzDaily reports AEW Dynamite did 1.219 million viewers on April 14. The number is well up from last week, which drew 688,000 viewers. AEW went head-to-head with NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver night one last Wednesday.

NXT officially moved to Tuesdays beginning April 13, meaning AEW Dynamite will be running unopposed on Wednesdays for the foreseeable future.

This marks the first time AEW has cracked over one million viewers since September 9, 2020, which was the post-AEW All Out show. The September 9 episode also ran unopposed as NXT aired on Tuesday. September 8 that week.

Wednesday's show drew a 0.44 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic, which is up from the 0.28 rating in the same demographic the show drew last week.

AEW Dynamite finished second among the top 150 cable originals for Wednesday. The night was won by The Challenge on MTV, which drew a 0.53 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic and 929,000 viewers.
