Bobby Lashley makes a statement
In his first singles match in AEW, Bobby Lashley defeated former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland at AEW Full Gear.
The match was action-packed but lopsided toward the former WWE Champion who would get the better of Strickland throughout the contest and finished the fight with his signature Hurt Lock.
Strickland did have a few moments of hope, putting Bobby Lashley through a table with his Swerve Stomp and hitting a second Stomp for a near fall inside the ring. Still, Lashley was simply too dominant and hit a Spear to set up for the final submission.
