Buddy Matthews defeated Dante Martin, The Beast Mortos, and Komander during the AEW Full Gear pre-show.
The action was all over the place, but in the closing moments, it came down to most competitors hitting move. Komander nailed a Poison Rana on Mortos. This led to Dante hitting a Frog Splash, but as he made the cover, Matthews connected with a Curb Stomp to secure the win.
