Britt Baker has her next challenger.
Coming off a successful AEW Women's Championship defense against Nyla Rose at AEW Fyter Fest, Britt Baker was looking for a new opponent on Wednesday's Dynamite. It didn't take long for her to be confronted by Red Velvet, who was ranked third in the August 4 AEW rankings.
Even though Baker quickly and handily defeated Velvet the last two the two met in September 2020, Velvet has been on a roll in 2021 and ready to show she can dethrone the AEW Women's Champion.
The bout between Baker and Velvet will take place on the debut episode of AEW Rampage on August 13, which will emanate from Baker's hometown of Pittsburgh, PA.

Furthermore, it was announced Excalibur, Taz, Chris Jericho, and Mark Henry will be the announce team for AEW Rampage.
