Hikaru Shida has an opponent for AEW Fyter Fest.
As announced on Dynamite, Shida will defend the AEW Women's Championship against Penelope Ford at Fyter Fest. Ford pinned Shida in a tag team bout last Wednesday on Dynamite, which helped set up the title shot. Ford was ranked third in the latest Official AEW Rankings, sitting behind Nyla Rose, who just lost to Shida at AEW Double or Nothing, and Kris Statlander, who is currently injured.
Ford has a 4-3 record in 2020 and is 6-5 overall. Shida is 11-1 in 2020 and 16-7 overall.
This is the fourth and final title match set for Fyter Fest.
Also added to AEW Fyter Fest is a singles bout between Orange Cassidy and Chris Jericho. "Le Champion" bloodied Orange Cassidy with blood oranges on last Wednesday's program but Cassidy got a measure of revenge this Wednesday, cost Sammy Guevara and Jericho their tag team match against Best Friends and attacking Jericho after the match.

All matches are subject to change depending on the outcome of upcoming matches on AEW Dynamite.
Fyter Fest is a two-night event set to air on July 1 and 8 on TNT.
