Aiden English Doesn't Dwell On Marrying A Guerrero: It's About Us And The Rest Is Superfluous

Aiden English doesn't spend too much time dwelling on the fact that he married the daughter of Eddie Guerrero.

Aiden English is a former NXT Tag Team Champion, a theater buff, whiskey enthusiast oh, and he also just happens to be part of the Guerrero family by marriage.

Speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Aiden English would get into his relationship with Shaul Guerrero, the daughter of Eddie and Vickie Guerrero. He would say that they met at FCW, but didn't begin dating immediately because she was seeing somebody when they first met.

For English, even though it's a cool fact for somebody who grew up loving the Guerrero family, he doesn't ever think about that aspect of his relationship because he says he just fell in love with the person who happened to have a famous last name.

“t's a weird question, and it's not the first time in fact, Vickie [Guerrero] was kind enough to have me on her show not too long ago and she kind of asked a similar thing,” he began. “Which was really weird coming for her to ask that question. So a little bit of pressure, but for me, I never really think of it in that context.”

He continued, “I just, I don't. I'm not saying I haven't. Of course, there's a little kid in me who was a huge fan of the Guerrero family. So, that's kind of a neat thing. But to me, it all comes down to. I've said it before, I just fell in love with a girl who happened to have a famous last name. She's all I care about and our relationship never really had much to do with that at all. So for me, it was just about us and all of that was just superfluous on the outside. So I don't think of it in terms like that because it's just us. That's all it is.”

Aiden would also say that he's trying to get his mother-in-law to drink whiskey with him, but she is more of a beer lady.

Aiden was let go by WWE back on Wednesday, April 15, 2020. He says he's looking forward to the future but is grateful for his time in WWE, even the days before Rusev Day, where he was a Vaudevillian.
