AJ Styles talks The OC.
On a recent episode of WWE Raw, AJ Styles reformed The Club with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. The move instantly freshened up all three characters and was a much-needed change for Gallows and Anderson, who had gotten lost in the shuffle over the last year. The trio has now been re-branded as The OC, which stands for The Original Club, The Official Club, or The Only Club.
Speaking to The Wrap, Styles discussed the band getting back together and extended an open invite to Finn Balor, the leader of the original Bullet Club in NJPW.
"I mean, we’ll have to see where [Balor] stands. We’re not exactly liked right now,” Styles said. “Does he want to be not liked? I don’t know. I don’t know where it’s going to stand. He will always have an invitation, but who knows if it’s going to happen."
There was a tease of Balor possibly joining The Club during their original run in 2016 but nothing materialized. Styles and Balor met at WWE TLC 2017 and embraced after the bout but have otherwise been kept apart from each other on television.
