Too Sweet.
AJ Styles and Cody Rhodes had their final confrontation before they meet at WWE Backlash in the closing segment of the May 3rd episode of WWE SmackDown.
Styles said that while Cody had people watching his back at WrestleMania XL, Styles had to fight and beat those same people on his way up the mountain. Styles noted that while Cody ran when things become tough, making the Stardust hand gesture, Styles had to work to even get into the WWE.
Cody praised Styles, and said that it felt like AJ was trying to talk himself up ahead of their bout.
The two men looked to give a Too Sweet gesture, a reference to their respective time in Bullet Club, but instead, Styles slapped Rhodes.
