AJ Styles On Shane McMahon Match: "I Love Challenges, So Bring It On"

The first couple of years haven't been exactly what longtime AJ Styles fans expected to see out of his WrestleMania programs, but Styles doesn't seem to mind.

When being interviewed by Gorilla Position, Styles was asked if he considers himself "too good" for his scheduled match against Shane McMahon at this year's show. Styles responded contradictory to many fans.

Adam Cole: I'd Love To Get My Hands On The Dynamite Diamond Ring So The Rest Of The World Never Has To See It Again

"At least you're getting AJ Styles at WrestleMania. Shane McMahon has been in the ring with some pretty high profile performers like, Kurt Angle, and that's a match that's stuck in my head forever. That performance, and the fact that he goes all out when he gets in the ring or out of the ring, on top of a cage. The guy is crazy. Shane's exciting to watch and not everybody's been in the ring with Shane McMahon, so, that's an opportunity that not many people had, that I may have the opportunity to get in the ring with him and I'm great with that. I want to be a part of it and for those who think that 'Oh, this isn't going to be that good' -- I love challenges, so does Shane McMahon. So bring it on," said Styles.

McMahon last wrestled at Survivor Series, which saw him concussed by a Roman Reigns spear. He'd also go on to accidentally kick out of the move because of the concussion.
