Sabu: Paul Heyman Had A Better Mind Than Vince McMahon

Sabu compares Vince McMahon and Paul Heyman as creative minds.

Sabu is best known for his time in ECW under the creative guidance and on-screen guidance of Paul Heyman. However, in 2006, Sabu had a brief stint in WWE's version of ECW where he got to work with Vince McMahon.

During a recent interview with DonutShopChronicles365 on YouTube, Sabu spoke about the differences between them from a creative standpoint. Perhaps to no surprise, Sabu believes that Heyman was more creative than McMahon. Sabu says he's even made peace with some of the financial struggles that came along with working for Heyman in the 90s.

"He’s good to work for, sort of. Work with, not work for. He’s great to work with. He’s a genius and has the best mind in the business than anybody. He had a better mind than Vince. When I wrestled for him, he didn’t have the money to pay us. I don’t hold that against him no more. He didn’t have it. If he had the money to pay us back then, he would’ve."

In the past, Rob Van Dam has said that he would like to see Sabu join him in the WWE Hall of Fame. Read those comments here.
