The forbidden door was open for IMPACT Wrestling to come to WWE at Royal Rumble as IMPACT Knockouts Champion Mickie James made her return in the women's Royal Rumble.
AJ Styles is arguably the top TNA/IMPACT name of all time and he would love to see more crossover between the two promotions.
"I would love to see it," Styles said when asked about working more with IMPACT in an interview with Ariel Helwani of BT Sport. "I think it's a good thing. I'm afraid the door only opens one way. There is a lot of library on AJ Styles, Bobby Lashley, and some of the other guys and girls. It wouldn't be a bad thing."
When asked if he would like to make an appearance in IMPACT, Styles said, "Maybe, I wouldn't mind it." He did note that he had not pitched any idea to go to IMPACT.
"We need to have a working relationship with other companies. As much as people want us to hate each other, we don't. We want to see people succeed. We want to see people do well. I do. Competition is a good thing. if they have a good show, I want to have a better show. I'm sure they feel the same way. There is nothing wrong with that, it just makes it better for everyone else who ever loved pro wrestling," he said.
IMPACT has formed working relationships with multiple companies including AEW, NJPW, and ROH.
Styles is set to challenge for the WWE Championship at WWE Elimination Chamber on Saturday. You can view the lineup for the event by clicking here.
