Akira Tozawa Beats Riley Osborne, Advances In Number One Contender's Tournament On WWE Speed

Akira Tozawa advances to the next round.

The WWE Speed Number One Contender’s Tournament continued on the November 1st episode of WWE Speed, as Riley Osborne took on Akira Tozawa. They battled it out early on, and they were evenly matched. Tozawa sent Osborne to the outside with a dropkick.

Osborne showcased his athleticism and dropped Tozawa with a headscissors takedown. He dove onto Tozawa at ringside. Tozawa evaded a Shooting Star Press and rocked him with a kick. Tozawa then hit a diving senton for the win.

Tozawa will face Dragon Lee in the next round. On the other side of the bracket, Sheamus will face Bron Breakker in the quarterfinals. The winner of the tournament will challenge Andrade for the WWE Speed Championship.
