As we reported this morning, GFW announced that their Unified Heavyweight Champion Alberto El Patron was being stripped of the title as a result of their internal investigation into the domestic violence incident with his fiancee Paige at Orland International Airport on July 9.
Now comes an announcement made by El Patron himself, that it was his idea to be stripped of the titles.
GFW's Live Special, Destination X, is this Thursday. El Patron had been slated to face Low-Ki.
