Alexa Bliss: Bray Wyatt Told Me Before He Left, 'Keep It Alive, Keep It Going'

In 2020, Alexa Bliss and Bray Wyatt formed an unlikely partnership that turned Bliss into "The Fiendess," a supernatural character alongside Wyatt and his "Fiend" character. The two would spend the latter half of 2020 in a feud with Randy Orton.

Bliss would turn on Wyatt during his bout against Orton at WrestleMania 37, which marked Wyatt's last match in WWE as he was taken off television shortly after and released in July.

Speaking to Alistair McGeorge of Metro, Bliss revealed what Wyatt told her before his release.

"Before he left, he just said, 'Keep it alive, keep it going,' so I took that to heart and tried to keep it alive and going. If he ever did return, a hundred percent I’d want to work with him," she said.

Bliss remained a supernatural character until WWE Extreme Rules, when Charlotte ripped up her Lilly doll, leading to Bliss being off television for months before returning with therapy vignettes ahead of WWE Elimination Chamber.

Bliss praised Wyatt, saying, "He is a creative genius in every sense of the word. He made me step up my game. He obviously helped a lot with the Dark Alexa character I had to take that and evolve it into its own entity, and put my own spin on things. Everyone wanted to work with Windham, he’s just so good and so creatively genius. He put so much effort into his craft, and for me it was, how do I create something alongside him without lowering his integrity, lowering his character, lowering his stuff? Because you have to try to rise to the occasion instead of bringing the other person down to match your level I really tried in that sense to at least do his character justice… He’s the best!"

While making the media rounds, Bliss appeared on Out of Character and said working with Wyatt is the most fun she's had in her career. You can find her full comments by clicking here.

Bliss is currently part of the WWE Raw brand and competed in the women's Money in the Bank ladder match at WWE Money in the Bank.
