Alexa Bliss credited Charlotte Flair as one of the women to take her under the wing and help guide her in her early stages with WWE.
Alexa and Charlotte both began their WWE careers around the same time with both women coming up through the NXT developmental system. Both women had their in-ring debuts within a year from each other as Charlotte had her first televised singles match on July 13, 2013, and Alexa had hers in May of 2014.
During an interview with Jinny for BT Sport., Alexa was asked if anybody had helped her with understanding the craft, in which Alexa disclosed that Sara Del Ray and Charlotte both played a big part in helping guide her through the early stages of her career.
"We were starting around the same time and Charlotte definitely took me under her wing and was that person. She would let me ride to the shows with her and Mojo. We became a very close group. I was really happy that one of my first matches was against Charlotte. It was kind of a full-circle moment."
Alexa continued by saying that they had a special bond by having a gymnastics background in common and the fact that they both enjoyed working out.
"Charlotte definitely took me under her wing, she was *that* person.

Alexa has been frequently seen on WWE television lately, while Charlotte has been off the screen since losing an I Quit match to Ronda Rousey at the beginning of May. The last time these two squared off in a singles contest was at Extreme Rules on September 26, 2021, where Charlotte Flair defeated Alexa Bliss and destroyed her Lilly doll after the match.
