Alexa Bliss never wants to settle.
Throughout her time in WWE, Bliss has played multiple characters from a sparkle princess to a mean girl to a possessed woman who carries a doll. Most recently, Bliss returned to WWE television as a hybrid who still carries her Lilly doll, but doesn't appear to have magical powers.
Appearing on The Residency podcast in an interview recorded before WrestleMania 38, Bliss was asked how much creative freedom she has with her character.
"Depends. It depends on where the story goes. The character itself, pretty free, it just depends on where the story goes. You have to adapt. You have to tell a story," she said.
When asked how much is planned when it comes to the story, Bliss replied, "Not very far. That's what's fascinating about what we do in WWE. It's instant feedback. Any other business you go to, you use a product, you write a Yelp review, you look at the review and see how people feel about the product. Ours is instant feedback. Instant, live, crowd reaction feedback."
Despite not knowing where the story may go week-to-week, Bliss enjoys the unknown.
"I love evolving. I don't like getting comfortable with one character. I like to always keep moving and keep changing and keep evolving. Mentally, I get very bored. I love the unknown. I love not knowing what I'm doing tomorrow," she said.
On Monday's WWE Raw, Bliss teamed with Liv Morgan to defeat Doudrop and Nikki A.S.H, officially qualifying for the Women's Money in the Bank ladder match at WWE Money in the Bank.
